The Law Office of James C. Siebert & Associates, P.C. and the Elder Law & Estate Planning Attorneys, P.C. focuses its practice primarily in Elder Law and Estate Planning. James is one of only twelve Illinois Attorneys who have received the prestigious designation of CELA or Certified Elder Law Attorney issued by the National Elder Law Foundation the only national organization certifying practitioners of elder and special needs law certified by the American Bar Association, though the Illinois Supreme Court does not recognize certifications of specialties. James has been selected by the Illinois legal community as a Leading Lawyer in Elder Law, the designation of Leading Lawyer is a peer-recommended resource of distinguished lawyers limited to the top 5 percent of lawyers in the State. James C. Siebert is the current President and Executive Board Member of the Illinois Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, previously serving as Co-Chairman of the Litigation Committee, Chapter Secretary and as a member of the Special Committee on Rulemaking. James was the 2016 recipient of the Ronald Runkle Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Illinois Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
